My Story
My passion for women's health started at an early age, in the form of studying about pregnancy and childbirth. This passion is what led me to specialize in urogynecology after receiving my Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Midwestern University in 2014. Following graduation, I immersed myself in all things women's health. After assisting with the birth of my nephew, I was propelled to become a certified Doula. The experience was intense and I felt an overwhelming sense of empowerment and gratitude. I knew from that moment that this was my calling. It is my dream come true to be able to once again follow my passion in serving women during such a monumental moment in their lives. Through my work as a women's health physical therapist, I have a deep understanding of anatomy and physiology that helps me tremendously in the delivery room. I have spent years treating postpartum conditions and I have found that far too often women are not getting the care that they need in the 4th trimester. It is my mission to bridge this gap through providing education and postpartum intervention alongside my work as a Doula.

What is a Doula?
In Greek, the word doula translates to woman caregiver. It is a term used to describe a professionally trained and experienced labor companion who provides continuous physical, emotional, and informational support to a mother and her partner before, during, and shortly after childbirth.
